Confidence Quotient Homework
Begin your day by praying out loud in the Spirit using a prayer language if you have one. If you don’t have a prayer language, feel free to utilize the time in worship. While you are praying or worshiping, engage your body by standing, walking, rocking, etc. The action is simply to keep you engaged so you don’t become sleepy or disengaged.
Engage in Prayer or Worship for 10 minutes. This activity is designed to create a habit and discipline of engage with God. In doing this, you are also preparing your spirit to be able to receive from the Lord and hear clearly from him.
While reading the scriptures, underline what is provoking you to receive from the Lord and where is He provoking you to become more like Him? Are there other ways or thoughts that have come as provoking to you out of these scriptures? What desire has been cultivated that you adopting from the Lord?
When you find the word “Desire” or in it meaning desire, take that word and its scripture. Meditate on it to allow the Lord to speak to you and teach you through it. What is He asking you to be? What is the Lord speaking to you about that desire and how does it apply to your life?
Close your eyes and meditate on what He wants you to be.
For example: If he speaks to you, “be a person of courage,” take that phrase and what the Lord has spoken for you to be and meditate on it. See yourself as a person of courage. Own that word, own the truth of God over your life, and make it your identity.
Write a personal prayer to your Daddy, Papa (use a language that makes you feel close to your Heavenly Father). Engage in relationship with Him and give permission to your spirit in partnership with the Lord to overtake your soul.
