Sisters Pursuing growth and Freedom

Hannah’s Gathering Course

Hannah’s Gathering is a course for women to grow in confidence, passion and purpose – inspired by the life of Hannah and her emotional breakthrough. These gatherings occur in an intimate home group setting to foster transparency, vulnerability and accountability over a 6-week time period. The instructors not only teach but guide the group with the leading of the Holy Spirit.

The studies have times of teaching, discussion, prayer, and ministry times, with homework assignments. The teaching for Hannah’s Gathering is founded upon the Word of God and wisdom gleaned from scriptures. This course helps women to identify unhealthy patterns while bringing transformation to them with the Holy Spirt granting freedom. This healing transforms emotions that dictate actions allowing women to engage and thrive in every area of life – empowering spiritual authority.

Women who have participated in these gatherings often find a new depth in their relationships and find these gatherings to be life changing. They walk away with renewed outlooks, confidence, healed hearts, and a hunger for more of God.

More About

Hannah's Gathering

In the Old Testament account of the life of Hannah, we read of a woman who found herself at the mercy of her own emotional turmoil.  Barren and in competition with her husband’s other wife who was blessed with sons and daughters, Hannah found many reasons for despair.  She was constantly aware of what she lacked, and her thoughts were consumed not only with her desire, but with the stigma accompanying her insufficiency.  Hannah descended into frustration, anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. She found herself so ruled by these emotions that she could not even bring herself to eat!  Just like Hannah, our emotions have the power to rule our actions, even to the point that we are unable to do what we know is best for our own well-being. In short, these negative emotions often become our master, enslaving us to act in accordance with fear, hopelessness, and unhealthy habits.

This course is designed to help women who frequently experience the same troublesome emotions as Hannah. Like Hannah, many struggle with the feelings that grip their heart, destroying hope, hindering the truth of God’s word, and engaging in disappointment. Emotions are a powerful source that influence and dictate our decisions. In this 6-week course, we will identify wrong thought patterns, emotional responses, and unholy habits that disturb our course and hinder us from walking in fulfillment. When Hannah focused on God, rather than herself, He removed her barrenness and blessed her as the mother of Samuel. During this bible study, we will identify wrong thought patterns, emotional responses, and unholy habits that disturb our course in life and hinder us from walking in true fulfillment.

Hannah’s Gathering is purposed for God encounters that lead to transformation. This course will aid in eliminating the principalities of shame, guilt, condemnation, regret, and ego. These principalities are confronted with studies, teaching, discussions, prayer, ministry times, and homework assignments. These teaching are founded on the word of God and wisdom gleaned from scriptures.

This Hannah’s Gathering course will not only identify unhealthy patterns but will release the power to set us free from the emotions that dictate our actions. The outcome of this is a woman engaged and thriving in every area of life and operating out of her spiritual authority.  By taking practical steps that allow us to walk in new empowered habits and emotional responses, we embody the fullness and freedom of love, joy, and peace. What a far better master!

Growth as a Sisterhood

What Happens in a Hannah's Gathering Meeting?

Hannah’s Gatherings are led by women who foster a life-giving environment of love and freedom, which take place in a small group setting of no more than 15 ladies. This size allows for each person to be known, participate and be involved. Your Hannah’s Gathering leader will take you through scriptures related to the life of Hannah while highlighting valuable insights that relate to our emotional lives. She will provide teaching on shame, guilt, condemnation, regret, and ego, along with interactive discussions to facilitate going to greater depths of understanding and awareness. In addition to this, each week we will include times of prayer and sharing. The first five weeks will address one of the principalities and in week 6, the group will be open to a time of review, testimony sharing, and celebration.

What Type of commitment Can I expect with my Involvement to Hannah's gathering?

We believe you can see transformational results when you show up expecting God to encounter you in a new way with confidence that He will take your life into a richer relationship with Himself and others.  Along with this study, you will receive daily homework that includes scripture reading and meditation.  The purpose of this homework is to connect you to a deeper personal relationship with the Lord. In these studies, you will explore different characteristics of God that relate to your emotions.  In doing so, you can expect to experience a greater sense of the reality of sustained rest. Even a busy schedule will accommodate this homework as it is given in a devotional format and can be completed throughout the day.

Your expectation to encounter the Lord along with your diligence in attending the meetings and wholeheartedly completing the homework with regularity will not only bring a new lifestyle but also give you an opportunity to experience relationships with new sisters.

Where Does the Hannah's Gathering Teaching Come from?

Hannah’s Gathering is birthed out of the teaching of Radical Transformation (RT4). RT4 is based on releasing healing through four pillars that shape identity: behavioral, emotional, memories, and spiritual authority. Each of these aspects plays an important role in molding of a personality and either leads to a fulfilled life or to a meaningless life. It has proven to bring freedom to many by freeing addictions, restoring vision, and breaking the lie of insignificance.

Where Emotions Loose their power and the spirit Reings

Hannah's Gatheing

This morning while I was spending time with God I was thinking how God doesn't want us to stay stuck in the pain of past choices and mistakes, those made by ourselves as well as pain we've experienced because of someone else. God has been working in me for a while but I think He confirmed to me some things through Hannah's Gathering. For example, even though the painful moments of our past are a part of our story those moments don't have to define us. We have the choice of what we do with painful memories. I like how you taught us when a memory does come to ask God to show us His perspective and what He wants to show/teach us. For years I believed the lie that I should carry my sins and be ashamed and guilt-ridden because of what I've done and constantly apologize and ask for forgiveness. Or when I've been hurt to play the victim: "poor, poor me" (my eyes are rolling right now because I've played the martyr quite well!) I'm learning that self-pity is a very dangerous road to be on plus God hates it. It is so amazing to me that God truly wants us to leave the past behind and to reach forward to those things which are ahead (Philippians 3:13). I'm also learning the importance of spending time with the Lord, reading His word and listening to Him. So, I thank you for teaching Hannah's Gathering and being such an encouragement to us. Thank you, also, to Kingdom Foundations for this study.

Hannah's Gathering was a study of my own heart in light of God's love for me. When I think about why it was so powerful, I see three components. The first is the teaching which gave me understanding of the interplay of the circumstances of my life and the enemy's plan to keep me stuck in painful emotions. It was a tool to help me unpack the ways my perception of myself and circumstances have veered from God's truth and created deep-seated lies that feel true. Second, the context of sharing vulnerably with other women where I could be embraced and understood was so powerful. Because of that, I am much more able to be compassionate with myself. Talking through the abstract concepts helped flesh them out into real-life applications. Finally, the focus on inviting God into my inner life and my emotions in a greater way really bore fruit. In particular, I do not struggle with guilt and condemnation in the way I used to. I am able to allow God in when I am feeling unlovely instead of trying to measure up in some way. The truth that I am loved by God as I am is much more solid and experiential now.
